Pumpkin Pie with Maple Cream and Candied Pecans

    Pumpkin Pie (861), prepared according to package instructions
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1/2 cup
    pecan, chopped
  • 1 cup
    whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup
    powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup
    maple syrup


1. Place sugar and pecans in a small skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, 5 minutes or until sugar melts and pecans are toasted.

2. Cool on wax paper then crumble into pieces.

3. Beat whipping cream at high speed in electric mixer until foamy. Gradually add powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

4. Fold in maple syrup into whipped cream. Cover and chill 1 hour or until ready to serve.

5. Spoon maple cream over pie and sprinkle with sugared pecans.
