Roasted Broccoli with Lemon Garlic Butter

Roasting adds pleasing aromatic flavors and depth to vegetables. The subtle sweet peppery hints blend well with the zesty sour lemon and smooth rich butter.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 bag
    Broccoli Florets (756), frozen
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon zest
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    pine nuts

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

2. Mix together broccoli, oil, butter, garlic, lemon, zest, salt and pepper until well blended.

3. Place mixture in single layer on baking sheet sprayed lightly with cooking oil.

4. Bake 20-25 minutes, stirring half way through cooking time.

5. Garnish with pine nuts and serve.
