Rich with lots of tender beef, sweet carrots, peas and onions in a meaty well-seasoned beef gravy topped with a tender freshly-baked pastry crust that hits the spot. Nothing says comfort like a hot, bubbly and crispy meat pot pie right out of the oven or microwave.

Time to table:* 45 minutes

    • Oven Oven
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • REMOVE POT PIE FROM INDIVIDUAL POT PIE CARTON; leave pot pie in paper tray.
  • WRAP crimped crust edge with strip of aluminum foil (about 1-inch wide).
  • Place pot pie(s) on baking sheet and bake for 43 to 45 minutes.
  • Carefully remove pot pie(s) from oven as product will be hot.
  • Let stand for 5 minutes to complete cooking.
  • Check that pot pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165°F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.
    • Microwave Microwave
  • OPEN carton; DO NOT REMOVE POT PIE. Silver liner must be over top of pot pie.
  • Microwave in open carton on HIGH (100% power) for 5 to 6 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • LET STAND 5 minutes in microwave to complete cooking. CAREFULLY remove pot pie from carton onto a plate as product will be hot.
  • Check that pot pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165°F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.
