Preparation

  • Prepare from THAWED state.
  • Appliances may vary, adjust accordingly.
  • Thaw desired number of scallops in refrigerator overnight for at least 8 hours or in cold running water for 15 minutes.
  • 1. Rinse thawed scallops under cold water, pat dry and season as desired.
  • 2. Preheat 1 tablespoon of oil in large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • 3. Place 8 scallops in a single layer into skillet.
  • 4. Cook for 2 minutes and turn over.
  • 5. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to skillet and cook for 3 minutes.
  • 6. Let stand 1 minute.
  • Promptly refrigerate any unused heated portion.
  • FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, FOLLOW THESE COOKING INSTRUCTIONS. THIS PRODUCT MUST BE COOKED TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 145°F PRIOR TO EATING.
