1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch and vanilla together.
3. Divide mixture between eight 4-oz ramekins
4. Blend together flour, cinnamon, oats, sugar, salt and butter until it resembles coarse crumbs.
5. Add walnuts and sprinkle mixture over fruit.
6. Bake 30-35 minutes until topping is golden and fruit is bubbly around edges.
Tip: Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or yogurt
