A quick marinade to give your kabobs a hint of rich sweet and savory flavors when grilled


Ingredients and Steps


1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp Tabasco® pepper sauce
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 cup red wine
2 tsp salt
2 USDA Choice Beef Sirloin (814), thawed and quartered

Assorted cut vegetables (onions, red & green peppers, portabello mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, zucchini)
Roasted Baby Bakers (851) partially thawed (optional)

1. Combine vinegar, oil, Worcestershire, Tabasco™, sugar, wine and salt to make a marinade.

2. Place meat and marinade into sturdy plastic bag or glass dish.

3. Marinade for 30 minutes in refrigerator.

4. Skewer 3 portions of meat with 3-4 pieces of desired cut vegetables.

5. Prepare kabobs according to package instructions.

Tip: Once meat is removed from marinade, a glaze can be made by adding 1/4 cup sugar and bringing to a full boil.
