A new take on bread salad! A tangy vinaigrette dressing tossed in crisp, crunchy Romaine and served with extra thick slices of grilled garlic Texas toast


Ingredients and Steps


6 slices Garlic Texas Toast (643), frozen
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup diced cucumber
1/2 medium red onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
1 cup fresh baby spinach
6 slices Fully Cooked Bacon Slices (811), prepared & crumbled

Buy this ingredient

4 leaves fresh basil, chopped
1/2 cup vinaigrette salad dressing
Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat grill to medium-high.

2. Grill bread 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden, crisp and grill marks appear.

3. Toss together remaining salad ingredients and serve over hot grilled toast.

Tip: This salad is also great served in the traditional way. The bread is chopped into cubes and tossed right into the salad.
