Chef Jet uses our fried rice and jumbo shrimp to easily prepare one of his most popular restaurant dishes and his very own family favorite. Serve this mouth-watering entree in hollowed out pineapple halves and you’re sure to impress your dinner guests.

1 pineapple
2-3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1-2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1/2 Tbsp. fresh ginger, finely minced
1 pkg. Fried Rice (827), frozen

6-8 pieces Jumbo Cooked Tail-On Shrimp (544), thawed

1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp. curry powder
2 green onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

Steps

1. Slice pineapple in half lengthwise, removing and discarding the core. Carve a bowl out of the pineapple halves. Reserve 1 cup of medium-diced pineapple.

2. Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.

3. Add garlic and ginger, stir until sizzling.

4. Mix in fried rice and shrimp.

5. Stir in sugar, soy, curry powder and green onion.

6. Toss with pineapple and serve in a pineapple halve or serving dish.

7. Garnish with cilantro and serve.
