Blue Hake Amandine with Dill Butter

Our wild-caught mild flavored hake turns into a delightful fish dish in minutes! The sauce of rich lemon butter, sweet almonds and savory dill complement this delicate fish.


Ingredients and Steps


1/2 cup butter, melted
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. finely chopped dill
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 pkg. Blue Hake Fillets "WILD CAUGHT' (#520), thawed
Salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup slivered almonds


1. Preheat oven to 425°F.

2. Combine butter, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and dill to make a sauce.

3. Place fish into a 9" x 9" baking pan lightly sprayed with cooking oil.

4. Season fish with salt and pepper. Drizzle sauce onto fish and top with almonds.

5. Bake for 15 minutes or until fish is opaque.
