Crisp, green and pleasantly tart. 

A favorite for any season as a side or on a bed of lettuce as a salad.


Ingredients and Steps


1 bag MicroSteam Whole Green Beans (790), prepared and cooled

1/2 cup red onion, sliced
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
1 tsp. (optional) minced garlic
1/4 cup lowfat low fat Italian dressing
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted


1.  Cook beans in the microwave in a covered dish on HIGH for 2-3 minutes until tender. Cool in a bowl of ice water to stop cooking. Drain and pat to dry.

2.  Mix green beans, onions, tomatoes and garlic. Drizzle with dressing.

3.  Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
