Comfort food at its best! An appetizing, creamy, rich, sweet corn pudding with bits of smoky bacon, onion and green peppers.


Ingredients and Steps


12 slices Thick Sliced Bacon (440), thawed

1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green peppers, chopped
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
2 cups sour cream
2 cans (15 oz) cream-style corn
1 bag Super Sweet Cut Corn (773), frozen

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Cut bacon into half-inch pieces and prepare according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

3. Sauté onions and green peppers in butter for 2 minutes. Stir in flour and salt.

4. Mix in sour cream, corn and half of  bacon.

5. Pour mixture into lightly oiled  9x13-inch casserole dish. Top with remaining bacon and bake uncovered 45 minutes.

Tip: For a family sized casserole, just cut the reicpe in half and put into a 9x9-inch baking dish.
