Simply Asian!
A bowl full of noodles topped with a rich ginger flavored broth and steaming vegetables.  Bok choy has plump white stalks topped with nutritious dark green leaves. It‘s a staple in Asian soups and has a tender, mild cabbage flavor.


Ingredients and Steps


4 cups reduced sodium, fat free chicken broth
2 green onion, sliced
1 tsp chopped gingerroot
1 clove minced garlic
2 Premium Chicken Breast Filets (502), prepared & sliced

4 oz uncooked angel hair pasta
1 cup sliced bok choy
1 cup Green Peas (766), frozen

Pepper to taste


1. Sauté onions, gingerroot and garlic in a couple tablespoons of broth for 3-5 minutes.

2. Add chicken and chicken broth and bring to a boil.

3. Add pasta and cook about 3-5 minutes

4. Stir in bok choy and peas. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes until bok choy wilts.

TIP: Add shredded carrots or your favorite mushrooms to the sauté step for additional color and flavor.
