It’s cheese on cheese in this easy, inspired version of hot dogs with mac and cheese. Smoked sausage with Monterey Jack cheese is folded into tender elbow macaroni with creamy real cheddar and Colby cheese sauce. All that’s needed is a topping of breadcrumbs.

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Slice sausages into bite size pieces.

3. Mix sausage pieces and macaroni and cheese in a large bowl.

4. Place mixture into baking dish.

5. Sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs.

6. Bake covered with foil for 25 minutes.

7. Remove foil and continue to bake 20-25 additional minutes or until heated through.
