Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove bacon, set aside and discard drippings.
Sauté onions and peppers in butter 3 minutes.
Puree 2 cups of corn, half-and-half, salt and pepper in blender until smooth.
Blend in eggs, sugar, and cayenne.
Butter an 8-by-12-inch baking dish. Add remaining corn and bacon-pepper mixture into dish.
Top with cheese and pour egg mixture over top.
Bake 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
