Switch up your standard chicken salad recipe for this delicious sweet and spicy version.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup
    mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup
    dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup
    chutney
  • 3 Tbsp
    curry powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup
    chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup
    chopped green onions
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2
    Multigrain Loaf (629), prepared according to package instructions and sliced lengthwise
  • romaine lettuce hearts, cut in half lengthwise

Instructions

1. Mix together mayo, wine, chutney, curry, cayenne and salt.
2. Stir in chicken, celery and onions.
3. Top bread with lettuce and chicken salad.
4. Slice sandwiches in halves and serve

Tips: For additional flavor and crunch add ¼ cup raisins and 1 cup roasted, salted cashews.
