Chef Jet’s sweet and sour dipping sauce is a classic favorite to serve with egg rolls, wontons and more. This sauce also makes a fantastic addition to any stir-fry. Try it with our chicken pattie nuggets, some vegetables and rice to make your own version of sweet and sour chicken.

  • 2 cups
    cold water
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 6 can(6 oz)
    tomato paste
  • 2/3 cup
    distilled white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp.
    soy sauce


1. Whisk all ingredients together over high heat and bring to a boil.

2. Reduce heat and simmer 3 additional minutes.

3. Cool sauce slightly and serve.

Tips: Serve as a dipping sauce with SCHWAN'S® Cream Cheese Wontons (#649) or Chicken Pattie Nuggets (#524). Also makes a great stir-fry sauce.
