TIME TO TABLE:* 22 MINUTES

Steam

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 inches of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Place steam basket in saucepan and water.
  3. Arrange 4 husk-wrapped tamales in the steam basket. Cover tightly.
  4. Steam for 20 to 22 minutes.
  5. Remove husk prior to eating.


Microwave

  1. Place 1 husk-wrapped tamale on microwave-safe dish.
  2. Cooke on HIGH (100% power) for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
  3. Remove husk prior to eating.
  4. Optional: A damp paper towel may be wrapped around tamale when cooking for added moisture.
