Conventional Oven


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. REMOVE POT PIE FROM INDIVIDUAL POT PIE CARTON; leave pot pie in paper tray.
  3. Wrap crimped crust edge with strip of aluminum foil (about 1-inch wide).
  4. Place pot pie(s) from oven as product will be hot.
  5. Carefully remove pot pie(s) from oven as product will be hot.
  6. Let stand 5 minutes to complete cooking.
  7. Check the pot pie is cooked thoroughly.
  8. Internal temperature needs to reach 165°F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.
  9. Crust will be golden brown and steam will rise from filling.



Microwave


  1. Open one end of carton; DO NOT REMOVE POT PIE. Silver liner must be over top of pot pie.
  2. Microwave in open carton on HIGH (100% power) 5 - 6 1/2 minutes, or until thoroughly cooked as directed below.
  3. Let stand 5 minutes in microwave to complete cooking. CAREFULLY remove pot pie from carton onto a plate as product will be hot.
  4. Check if the pot pie cooked thoroughly: Internal temperature needs to reach 165°F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.
