Conventional Oven


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. REMOVE POT PIE FROM INDIVIDUAL POT PIE CARTON; leave pot pie in paper tray.
  3. WRAP crimped crust edge with strip of aluminum foil (about 1-inch wide).
  4. Place pot pie(s) on baking sheet and bake for 43 to 45 minutes.
  5. Carefully remove pot pie(s) from oven as product will be hot.
  6. Let stand for 5 minutes to complete cooking.
  7. Check that pot pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165°F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.



Microwave


  1. OPEN carton; DO NOT REMOVE POT PIE. Silver liner must be over top of pot pie.
  2. Microwave in open carton on HIGH (100% power) for 5 to 6 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. LET STAND 5 minutes in microwave to complete cooking. CAREFULLY remove pot pie from carton onto a plate as product will be hot.
  4. Check that pot pie is cooked thoroughly. Internal temperature needs to reach 165°F as measured by a food thermometer in several spots.
