    Our Cashew Chicken Skillet Meal is made with roasted white-meat chicken, carrots, onions and water chestnuts in a sauce made with plum juice, toasted sesame oil and soy sauce. Includes cashew packet and long-grain rice in a microsteam pouch.

  • Preparation

    Time to table:* 10 minutes

      • Stovetop + Microwave Stovetop + Microwave
    • 1. Open bag and remove rice, cashew and sauce pouches.
    • 2. Place the sauce in warm water to thaw.
    • 3. On stovetop heat skillet over Medium High; add remaining contents of bag and 2 Tablespoons of water.
    • 4. Cover; cook for 8 minutes; stirring halfway through cooking time.
    • 5. Place rice pouch in microwave; cook on HIGH (100% Power) for 3 minutes.
    • 6. Add sauce and 2 Tablespoons water to skillet; stir.
    • 7. Cover; cook for 30 seconds.
    • 8. Add cashews to skillet; stir; cook for 30 seconds.
    • 9. Carefully remove rice pouch from microwave; open and pour onto large serving dish.
    • 10. Pour contents of skillet over rice.
